Anjan Wood Tournament Chessboard

This beautiful Board is made of Anjan wood on the darker side and Maple wood on the lighter side. Anjan (Hardwickia binata) is commonly called Hardwickia and is a dark reddish-brown color with very dark streaks, even texture, and close, interlocked grains. It has a high cutting resistance and hence requires careful handling while manufacturing. It is fairly dense and durable and has a good variety for making chess pieces. It takes polish very well. Moderate to high price, it is a good substitute for Rosewood.

Please note that the weight in the set is added manually, so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%.
